So with the holidays coming up, this month we’ll be posting some Christmas songs we did a few years back!
We’re kicking off with a cover I recorded of Silent Night. A little background about this song: I’d heard many renditions of Silent Night (Boyz II Men’s version being one of my favs) and a friend of ours, Devvan Stokes, sent me a version by an artist named, One Amazin’ Kid. As soon as I heard it, I immediately loved it. One of the things that I love about this version is that it sounds so honest and pure and I hope that that comes through in my cover of it.
Kavin once said that he imagines listening to this on a cold winter’s night, sipping hot cocoa in front of a wood-burning fireplace. Maybe one of you guys will do the same..enjoy :)
